This class is all about spreading joy! The Baked Bean Choir is a vibrant and hard-working singing group that endeavours to develop students’ fine tuning, vocal technique and musical understanding in order to sing collectively as an ensemble. Alongside group singing, The Baked Bean Choir gives students the chance to shine with confidence in solos whilst being accompanied with backing vocals, an experience that many absolutely love! No genre or era of music is off limits for this group, who regularly perform in the local community, on radio stations, at corporate events, and beyond.

Our Baked Bean DJs are a collective of students who are mentored by professional DJs and musicians, gaining hands-on experience in the art of DJing, producing and songwriting. They learn to confidently operate industry-standard equipment, explore a wide range of musical genres, and develop the skills to curate engaging set lists tailored to different audiences. Through regular live performances at in-house events, local community venues, and even mainstream festivals, students build confidence, refine their style, and get to experience performing in front of energetic crowds. The collective also focuses on songwriting and music production, giving students the chance to explore their creativity and develop their own sound. Through instrumental work, beat-making, and lyric writing, students can shape their ideas and grow as musicians.
